WATER MAIN FLUSHING

The Village of Lindenhurst will be conducting their semi-annual water main flushing program beginning April 7, 2008, contingent upon mild weather conditions.  This process will be performed daily Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (Residents are urged to refrain from doing laundry during this time period, to avoid staining of clothing which may occur due to the disturbance in the water main), and will continue until all water mains throughout the Village have been flushed.  Anticipated completion is May 9, 2008.

Signs will be posted in your area prior to the beginning of the water main flushing.

We appreciate your cooperation, and regret any inconvenience caused during this program.
