Emergency Dispatch Center
More specifically, all landline emergency “911” calls are answered by our designated Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP), which is currently the FoxComm Dispatch Center (Fox Lake). The police calls are then transferred to the Glenview Public Safety Dispatch Center. Calls are dispatched to Lindenhurst police personnel by way of their STARCOM-21 digital portable radios, in-car mobile data computers, or by cellular telephone when appropriate.
