Veterans' Commission
The Veterans' Memorial Commission advises the Village Board on issues regarding the funding, construction, maintenance and use of a veterans memorial to honor our country's servicemen and servicewomen and work with the Village Board in furtherance of the policies and procedures approved by the Board. Pavers can be ordered at Village Hall.
Meetings are held on an as-needed basis.
Events
The Lindenhurst Memorial Day ceremonies take place 10:00 a.m. on Memorial Day.
The Lindenhurst Veterans' Day ceremonies take place 11:00 a.m. on Veterans' Day (November 11th).
All ceremonies are located at the Lindenhurst Veterans' Memorial, which is the entrance to Lindenhurst Village Hall, 2301 E. Sand Lake Road. In the case of inclement weather, ceremonies are held in the Public Works garage behind Village Hall.
