Message from Mayor Dominic Marturano

Welcome to the Village of Lindenhurst's website. Our website is designed to provide useful information about Village programs and services. In addition, the website keeps residents updated on current events, news and projects, and provides numerous e-government initiatives, including electronic bill payment and the ability to submit a request for service online.

Village Board

Village Board meetings are scheduled on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall, 2301 E. Sand Lake Road.

Village Commissions

Village Commissions include: Lakes Commission, Plan Commission, Police Commission, Police Pension Board, Sanitary District, and the Veterans' Commission.

Administration

The Administration Office, located in the Village Hall,  performs daily administrative functions, including: Departmental Oversight, Public Relations, Budget, Economic Development, Risk Management, Intergovernmental Relations, ADA Coordination, and Franchise Agreements.

Building & Engineering

The Building Office is responsible for the plan review, issuance of construction permits, and inspection of all residential and commercial construction activity. Construction activity is reviewed and inspected by the Village to ensure compliance with national building codes and local ordinances.

Police

The Lindenhurst Police Department is deeply committed to community collaboration. Through open communication, the respectful treatment of others, and a foundation of professional service, the Lindenhurst Police Department endeavors to foster trust with the public it serves.

Public Works

The Public Works Department maintains and operates the Village water distribution system, sanitary collection system, sanitary treatment plant, storm sewer systems, and maintenance of residential roads and parkways under the Village's jurisdiction.
