Planning and zoning functions performed in the Administration office involve preserving and enhancing developments in the Village based on the high standards adopted in our Comprehensive Plan. This plan advises Village officials and staff on the future growth of our town, and it is used as a general guideline the on potential development projects.
General responsibilities of planning and zoning:

Negotiating annexation agreements

Zoning inquiries and recommendations

Support for plan commission and ZBA
Plan Commission - Processing zoning applications
Zoning Board of Appeals - Provide opportunities for citizens input on proposed development projects.
