The Lindenhurst Police Department would like to thank the community for its support during the 2018 “Shop with a Cop” event which benefited local children.

We are humbly seeking assistance from individuals and our local businesses to support each year’s event.  A full sponsorship of a child is a $125.00 donation, however, any amount would be greatly appreciated.  Children often use portions of their gift cards for family members.

Each event will include a story time visit with Santa Claus and pizza and refreshments to enjoy. Police officers from the Lindenhurst Police Department as well as other local law enforcement agencies will then transport the children to Walmart for some holiday shopping.
