Trustee Suchy is a proud resident of Lindenhurst since 1988. She is married to husband Steve, and has two adult children: Heather and Kevin. Dawn was appointed Village Clerk in 2011, and has been an elected trustee since 2013. Member of the Finance Committee 2013-present, liaison to the Park District 2013-present, and past member of the Human Resource Committee 2013-2019.
Dawn has been a licensed real estate agent for over 30 years. Although no longer active, she believes her career has given her a special understanding of how a continually changing economy can affect a homeowner, as well as, a municipality. She acknowledges the importance of community amenities and their potential impact on home values and appeal. Supporting progress while remaining budget-minded is her utmost goal.
