The Village maintains commercial and residential utility billing, (sewer and water charges). The billings are generated by the Village Hall office staff based upon user consumption obtained through meter readings.

Readings are measured by units.

1 unit = 100 cubic feet or approximately 748 gallons of water

Billing is bi-monthly (once every 2 months) for the prior 61 days of consumption

WATER: minimum charge 0 - 15 units = $16.53
Plus $1.10 per unit for each additional unit over 15.

SEWER: minimum charge or Base charge = $50.42
Plus an additional charge for each unit of consumption per the following table:

0 - 10 units = $ 0.49 per unit
11 - 30 units = $ 0.62 per unit
30 plus units = $ 0.75 per unit

BI-MONTHLY MINIMUM: = $66.95 (+ license fee of $6.00 per bill = $72.95)

SEWER ONLY: $61.48

SENIOR DISCOUNT: 62 years and over, receive a $11.80 discount off the sewer charge.

VEHICLE LICENSE TAX:  An annual per household vehicle license tax charge of $36.00 will be included on your sewer and water bill over six annual billings @ $6.00 per billing.  Senior, handicap and military reductions are available.  The Village does not issue vehicle stickers.
