Lindenfest Battle of the Bands 2008
Attention Musicians / Rock Bands! Lindenfest is having a Battle of the Bands on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at 12:00 noon. If your band is interested in participating, mail a promo CD, or drop it off at the Village Hall in Lindenhurst at 2301 East Sand Lake Road. CD's must be postmarked or dropped off by May 31, 2008. Bands may play original music or cover. No inappropriate language, this is a family event. Bands that have formerly played at Lindenfest are ineligible to participate. 8 bands will be chosen. Each band will perform 3 songs. Mail promo CD to: Lindenfest Inc. Attn: Andy Bauschke 2301 E. Sand Lake Road Lindenhurst, Illinois 60046 Winners on August 10, 2008 will receive: 1st Place - $300 and be awarded the opening act on Friday, August 14, 2009 at Lindenfest 2nd Place - $200
